Ozz is a guitarist, guitar teacher, and producer with 25+ years of teaching experience and a YouTube channel of 100K+ subscribers. He is known for note-for-note solo transcriptions, in-depth tone breakdowns, and lessons on the music of guitar virtuosos like John Petrucci, Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, and Guthrie Govan.
Early Years & Influences
Ozz started playing guitar in 1997, profoundly influenced by Jason Becker, Al Di Meola, Guthrie Govan, John Petrucci, and Paul Gilbert. Alongside the virtuoso tradition, his playing draws on progressive and heavy rock, from Dream Theater to Opeth, Porcupine Tree, and Tool.
Disenchant
In 1999 he formed his first band, Disenchant, releasing the EP Dilemma in 2005 and the full-length album Minds Corrupted in 2007.
Teaching
Ozz has been teaching guitar since 2000 and has taught hundreds of students. Since 2016 he has given one-on-one online lessons to students around the world, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Spain, and Germany.
His approach is built on fundamentals first. Before working on a specific player’s style, students build clean technique, efficient motion, fretboard knowledge, and a solid practice routine. Lessons cover technique, music theory, ear training, improvisation, composing, and recording, and students who commit to a long-term plan of 1–3 years see the biggest results.
Ozgur Studyo
In 2014 Ozz established Ozgur Studyo, where he works on recording, mixing, and production. That studio experience shapes his YouTube content, from tone masterclasses to guitar playthroughs, and his Fractal Audio presets, which he shares with his Patreon members.

On YouTube, Ozz publishes guitar lessons, solo transcriptions, performances, and gear demos. His Patreon community gets PDF tabs, Guitar Pro files, backing tracks, exclusive lesson materials, and personal video feedback.
