Contact forms
When you use a contact form on this site, the data you submit (such as your name, email address, and message) is sent to us by email so we can respond to your enquiry. We do not use this data for any other purpose, and we do not share it with third parties except as needed to deliver the message (for example, our email provider).
Guitar lesson booking and scheduling
Guitar lessons are booked through Calendly, a third-party scheduling service. When you book a lesson, Calendly collects the information you provide during booking, such as your name, email address, and time zone, in order to schedule and manage the appointment. Calendly’s own privacy policy governs how it processes this data.
Payments
Payment for guitar lessons is processed through iyzico, a third-party, PCI-compliant payment provider. We do not see, collect, or store your card details on this site — they are entered directly on iyzico’s secure payment page and handled entirely under iyzico’s own privacy and security policies.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
Contact form submissions are kept only as long as needed to respond to and resolve your enquiry. Booking and payment records are retained by Calendly and iyzico respectively, in line with their own retention policies.
What rights you have over your data
If you have left a comment or submitted a contact form on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, or request that we erase any personal data we hold about you.
